Assassin's Creed Reveals Bizarre AoT Crossover for Holiday Season
In a surprising partnership that defies conventional expectations, the game developer has announced an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Adventure Uncovered
According to the formal release, "A mysterious encounter pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where rumors of banned rituals and fearsome transformations resonate through the obscurity." The storyline introduces a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a clandestine cult.
The adventure concentrates on "strange trials and a terrifying foe" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Settings and Metamorphoses
The teaser features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer ends with a powerful moment showing a character, presumably the captive, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Prizes and Bonus Material
Players who accomplish the quest will receive an unique katana together with multiple objects concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

This release also introduces the game's newest no-cost story content, titled "The Enigma."
